Dr. Reanna Cantrall

Dr. Reanna Cantrall grew up in Holt, MI outside of East Lansing. She was a competitive dancer and soccer player throughout grade school and completed her undergraduate college education at Saginaw Valley State University in Saginaw, MI. She worked in many different small and large animal veterinary hospitals throughout her undergraduate career but found a passion in small animal surgery and emergency medicine through working at a local emergency hospital.

Dr. Cantrall completed her graduate degree in veterinary medicine at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Throughout veterinary school she developed a strong passion for small animal medicine, namely anesthesia and surgery. She went on to complete a small animal general medicine and surgery internship at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge, LA. She developed a deep passion for small animal surgery and furthered her training with a specialty internship at the University of Missouri and back home at Michigan State University in general surgery and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Cantrall loves all aspects of small animal surgery but is deepening her interests in minimally invasive techniques through the opportunity she was granted at the AMC as a veterinarian in the Interventional Radiology & Endoscopy Service. In her spare time, Dr. Cantrall loves being outside, especially anything to do with water, spending time with her family and two beagles Wrigley and Koda, traveling, and exploring NYC.
