Kraska, Kathleen, DVM

Resident in Surgery

Dr. Kathleen Kraska earned her veterinary degree from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Prior to attending veterinary school, she worked in the field of child and family mental health after graduating from Boston College with a degree in Psychology. She has a passion for small animal surgery, surgical oncology and international medicine and has worked around the world developing community veterinary services and teaching animal husbandry. While at Oregon State, she helped develop and lead an annual student run veterinary service trip to a community in Nicaragua to provide much needed services to the animals and people of the region. Following veterinary school, Kathleen completed a small animal rotating internship at Seattle Veterinary Specialists in Kirkland, WA and a specialty internship in surgery at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego.
