Martel, Django, DVM

Staff Doctor

Prior to his employment at the Animal Medical Center, Dr. Martel worked for Downtown Veterinary Medical Hospitals, a group of veterinary practices in lower Manhattan, and for one year in a small animal practice in Chicago. Since 2009, Dr. Martel has been training under the mentorship of AMC's Dr. Daniel Carmichael for board certification in veterinary dentistry and membership in the American Veterinary Dental College. Dr. Martel obtained his undergraduate degree from the City University of New York at Hunter College in New York, New York in 1999 and his degree in veterinary medicine from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in Ithaca, New York in 2003.
