Our beloved dog, Foxy

This story starts off very sad but has a very happy ending. On 2/7/2010 our beloved dog Foxy was hit by a car (she's a mini dachshund). She had traumatic brain injury, pulmonary contusions, and she was comatose from sunday night till some time on wed.

Our family stood by the phone each day waiting to hear good news. When the the doctor called to say she had awakened, we were so excited. For a second there we didn't think she would make it. We are so glad the Medical Staff didn't give up on her. She's doing well now with each day that passes. You wouldn't know she was hit by a car just looking at her. I would like to thank doctor Melissa Fetner and the staff. They are amazing! Thank you AMC...you're the best!!
